Letter from the President

Hello from the Brothers of the Kappa Deuteron Chapter of Phi Sigma Kappa!

My name is Michael Chen, and I am honored to serve as President for the 2017 year. Coming into Georgia Tech, I was skeptical of Greek life, but after going through Rush and spending three years here, I can honestly say that joining Phi Sig was the best decision I've made at Tech. My brothers push me to be my best and are always there if needed.

Our brothers strive to better themselves every day and do so by being involved on campus, excelling at school, and giving back to our community. Some of the campus organizations that our brothers are active in are FASET Orientation, Wreck Camp, Ramblin' Reck Club, GT For The Kids, Student Government Association, Alternative Service Breaks, and GT Tour Guides. In addition, we regularly package food at Campus Kitchens, plant trees with Trees Atlanta, and volunteer at the Atlanta Humane Society. Along with those involvements, we host philanthropy events like Phi Sig Pig Jig and Carving for a Cause to help raise money for the Special Olympics, our national philanthropy.

We come from all walks of life and from all across the world. Because of this, our brothers joined Phi Sig for a multitude of reasons. Some value the social aspect, others cherish the leadership and involvement opportunities, while others enjoy the support and networking provided by Phi Sig. No matter the reason, we as individuals are proud to be Phi Sigs and come together for the promise of lifelong friendship that our brotherhood provides.

Damn Glad,

Michael Chen
